The specially designed vented deck allows maximum airflow even on a low cut, giving superb grass collection even in wet conditions and helping to ensure clumps of grass aren't left on the lawn as can happen with more basic designs found on cheaper models. All controls are ergonomically designed for simplicity and ease of use to ensure comfortable operation of the machine. The MTD-Lawnflite 991-SPO Rear-roller Lawnmower is equipped with the latest low emission OHV MTD Thorx engine - this powerful 122cc motor will not only emit less than old style side-valve engines found on other mowers in this class, but also work more efficiently using less fuel and last much longer! The engine is also more reliable and requires less maintenance. Additional quality features include cast iron crank shaft and cylinder sleeves for a longer working life, low-ton muffler for sound reduction and dual-stage air filter. It has an 18"/46cm cutting width making it suitable for gardens up to 50m x 50m and the large sized 66 litre grass collector means fewer stops to empty. This lightweight model weighs just 69 lbs / 31kg.
